The KEP Research Center combines new product development, process research, test and analysis, application development and technical service to our customers. Our efforts are not confined to the laboratory. KEP works closely with customers to fully understand their applications and to assure that they obtain the maximum benefits from using KEPITAL. Working together, KEP has become a research partner for customers who are then better able to develop new products, improve productivity, and enter new markets.
The KEP research center has developed specific products utilizing divers technology from its related industries. We study market needs and research trends related to engineering plastics. Moreover, we integrate our technologies for material development, molding, and secondary processes based on the core technology. KEP has developed various products to meet diverse customer needs. For example, KEP has recently developed low formaldehyde emission grades, anti-bacterial grades and metallic color grades which do not need any plating.
Good product design is not by accident. It’s a result of a comprehensive engineering approach. By anticipating customer needs and market trends, we are able to offer the best solutions at the right time. By constantly refining our technological expertise, we help our customers to be best in class within their business.
The most effective application development process involves the material suppliers at the beginning to utilize their knowledge. We can assist customers with deciding the geometry of the part and with determining how to maximize the functional integration and to minimize the production cost.
